Bulk uploading data

There is an option with Oneserve that allows data from Comma Separated Value (CSV) file to be uploaded into the application. This will only be required if there is a large bulk of data to be imported, and this will be carried out by the Oneserve support staff.

Currently there are a number of types of data that we will import for you but the process is the same for them all.

To ensure the data can be uploaded correctly and quickly we will ask you to add your data to our standard templates.

Site and Contact Imports

Instead of raising every site and contact manually we can add them to the system in one import. This will include all the properties you will be responsible for. After the import you will be able to raise new sites with a contact whilst you create a new job or the add site/contact form.

Please check you have completed the configuration for the items below before you send the template

Team/Resource Service Rates

Service rates can be assigned manually in Oneserve but if you are using a lot of services and teams/resource you can use the template for Oneserve to import. Rates will represent the hourly rate for the resource working time which will add a cost value to your job.

Please check you have completed the steps below before you send the template

If you will be using the Stock management process we can assist with importing your data. This will include your part catalogue to list all of the parts you will be purchasing and your van stock quantity.

If you are going to use the Store or Store Parts imports please check that you have configured your Resource accounts under the Team section.

Work Programme Configuration

If you are intending to use work programmes to raise a lot of jobs for different sites you can use this import function for Oneserve to add them to the system.

Assets

The asset section is also optional and tends to be used for servicing or installation work. Assets can then be used to trigger survey questions and keep track on what sites contain a asset. The import will speed up the asset configuration steps.

Please check you have completed the configuration for the items below before you send the template

Asset Manufacture

Each of the data templates contains a starting tab which talks you through each of the import fields and explains what each one is used for, they also have a mandatory/non mandatory flag.

Once these templates have been completed they should be added to a ticket in Zendesk through the portal
