Summary
All work has to happen somewhere. In Oneserve, these locations are represented by sites. All work logged in the system is logged against a site, and a site's geographical location, collection of assets, and site type have an effect on the work raised against the site.
Assets are held against sites, along with survey history, job history, and asset locations. This allows you to easily see an overview of the work undertaken on a site. Sites are also connected to contacts, against which contact details are stored. These details can be used to generate work notifications such as SMS, Emails, and Letters.
Searching for Sites
There are three ways of searching for sites in the application:
- Selecting the "Search Locations" option in the Search menu
- Selecting the "Sites" tab in the search views screen
You can then search using built-in filters or by making use of advanced search queries.
